<p>Provided is a lithium secondary battery to increase the infiltration velocity of an electrolyte solution by enhancing the fluidity of an electrolyte solution inside a battery, thereby reducing infiltration time. The lithium secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly; a case which accommodates the electrode assembly; a cap assembly which seals the case; and an insulating plate which is located between the electrode assembly and the case and between the electrode assembly and the cap assembly, wherein at least one of the insulating plate is made of a material having the affinity to an electrolyte solution such as wettability. Preferably the material having the affinity to an electrolyte solution is a polymer, more preferably poly(vinyl difluoride) (PVdF).</p> |
