A base station system having plural optical matching units supporting the same sector is provided to prevent a service shadow region easily by installing the plural optical matching unit with respect to the same sector by connecting the plural optical matching units through daisy chains. A base station system comprises a base station(102) and plural optical matching units(106a~106c) connected with the base station through optical links(104). The optical matching units respectively include main ports(108a~108c), daisy ports(110a~110c), optical converters(112a~112c), demultiplexers(114a~114c), multiplexers(116a~116c), signal modulators(118a~118c), power amplifiers(120a~120c), front-end units(122a~122c) and antennas(124a~124c). The base station and the plural optical matching units are connected through the optical lines to from a daisy chain. An optical signal transmitted from the base station through the daisy chain is converted into an RF(Radio Frequency) in one of the plural optical matching unit and transmitted through an antenna. An RF signal received from an antenna is converted into an optical signal in one of the plural optical matching units and transmitted to the base station through the daisy chain.
