The invention essentially consists of a structure made from metal or a mechanically strong material which is perforated and completely coated with a mixture formed by 85 - 95% recycled or unrecycled rubber crumb, 5 - 15% polymer or similar adhesive material for rendering the element totally compact and optionally one or more dyes or pigments for colouring the exterior of the element. The invention is intended to provide good mechanical strength, good noise absorption, good thermal insulation, good tightness and good impact absorption. The associated production method involves moulding.
