<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a watermark relating to one or more audio streams in compliance with a system or format by using a watermark detection section of a single or the number smaller than the number of streams. <P>SOLUTION: The watermark detection device includes a decoding means (12) which includes a plurality of decoders respectively decoding a plurality of data streams, a mixer (23) which mixes the plurality of the data streams decoded by the decoding means, detecting means (26, S103) which detect the watermarks superposed on the decoded data streams and control means (25, S109, S110) which specify one or more data streams from among the data streams decoded by the decoding means and control the detecting means so as to detect the watermarks superposed on the specified data streams. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
