<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strictly limit the use of an image forming device without increasing the processing load of the image forming device and a server. <P>SOLUTION: The usable amount, which is the permitted amount of use, of the image forming device is stored in a server for every group consisting of one or more users. The server allots a part or the whole of the usable amount of the group of the user as an allotted usable amount to the image forming device used by the user. The image forming device carries out a job which the user commanded to execute, within a range of the allotted usable amount, allotted from the server, of the group of the user, and when any of other jobs waiting for execution commanded by the user to execute or other jobs waiting for execution commanded by other users in the group is not left in the image forming device itself after completing the execution of the job, the unconsumed allotted usable amount of the group is returned to the server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
