PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of one of factors obstructing a miniaturization because the area of the top section of a sidewall section is required as a mounting occupied area since an electrode terminal for an external connection must be formed at the corner section of the top section of the sidewall section surrounding an integrated circuit element in a conventional piezoelectric oscillator. SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric oscillator, a flexible substrate 13 in a form that one-side direction of a piezoelectric vibrator section 11 is extended is arranged between the piezoelectric vibrator section 11 and the integrated circuit element 12, and the electrode terminals 16 for connecting the substrate and electrode pads 17 for connecting the piezoelectric vibrator section are connected. In the piezoelectric oscillator, various electrode terminals 18 and the electrode pads 19 for connecting the integrated circuit element are further connected, and the extending section of the flexible substrate 13 is bent and fixed in the second main-surface direction of the integrated circuit element 12. In the piezoelectric oscillator, the electrode terminals 21 for the external connection are further formed in one main-surface region of the bent flexible substrate 13, and the electrode terminals 21 for the external connection and the electrode pads 19 for connecting the integrated circuit element are connected electrically.
