PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute a process of a computer into a plurality of portions based on predetermined branch conditions without using an 'if' sentence and the like in a source code. SOLUTION: This program execution system comprises a branch rule code in which the correspondence relation between the branch conditions and processes to be executed after branch is defined, a process content determination part which specifies the process contents according to the branch rule code when the branch conditions are given, and a process execution part which executes the specified process. The branch rule code is equipped with a branch part which is distributed in two directions for each element according to its value. Two set values are described in each branch part. Any one of (1) the specific branch part concerning the next element and (2) a concrete process is associated to each set value. The process content determination part applies the branch condition values in the order of arrangement of elements for the branch part. When one of the branch condition values corresponds to the set value associated with (1), the next branch condition value is applied to the corresponding branch part and when it corresponds to the set value associated with (2), the corresponding process is specified.
