PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development capable of forming an invisible image which absorbs a large amount of near-infrared radiation. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development contains at least one of a phthalocyanine compound and a naphthalocyanine compound and at least one of compounds of structural formulae (1) and (2), wherein R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>, and R<SB>3</SB>and R<SB>4</SB>each independently denote H, alkyl, phenyl, amino, halogen, alkoxy, alkylthio, nitro, hydroxy, thiol or alkoxycarbonyl.
