PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge capable of suppressing the evaporation of a sample solution and performing homogeneous biochemical reaction without needs for troublesome operations. SOLUTION: The cartridge retains an evaporation prevention material in the cartridge that is solid at a normal temperature and molten in a temperature zone of biochemical reaction; and can prevent the evaporation of a sample solution by the presence of the molten evaporation prevention material in the interface between the sample solution and a gas phase during the biochemical reaction.
