PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for actively lowering the temperature of the whole rooftop by using water. SOLUTION: Waterproof construction is performed in a plane shape by reducing a drainage slope of a roof of a building. Since its whole roof is shallowly filled with water, heat of the direct sunlight of summer can be absorbed by the water, and ageing of a waterproof layer is prevented. A rise in the room temperature of the uppermost story can be restrained, and air-conditioning cost for adjusting the indoor temperature can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
