PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily hide a hinge arm of a pivot hinge of a door. SOLUTION: This pivot hinge has the hinge arm projecting in the substantially horizontal direction from both the door 6 and a frame body 5, and a substantially vertical hinge pin 13 connecting the mutual hinge arms. The pivot hinge is provided for fixing a cover 15 to the hinge arm 8a by a snap engaging means arranged between the cover 15 and the hinge arm 8a by putting the cover 15 on the hinge arm 8a projecting from the lower end of at least the door. The snap engaging means is composed of a fitting projection 17 fixed to the cover 15 and an insertion hole 18 formed in the hinge arm 8a. An annular groove 17a is formed in the fitting projection 17. A horizontal hole 29 crossing with the insertion hole 18 is arranged in the hinge arm 8a. The cover 15 is fixed to the hinge arm 8a by fitting a fitting-in member 28 arranged in the horizontal hole 29 in the annular groove 17a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
