PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building structure having excellent earthquake resistance, which can be constructed without additional work in the course of execution of foundation construction work. SOLUTION: The building structure 10 has a plurality of individual footings 10a which are each a footing 11 bearing one column base 12. Herein the footings 11 are connected to each other via a foundation beam 13 functioning as a shear yielding vibration control damper, a bending yielding vibration control damper, or an axial yielding vibration control damper.
