PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for firmly and detachably fixing a heat exchanger in a warm water washing toilet seat unit equipped with an instantaneous warm water washing device, or a toilet bowl equipped with the warm water washing toilet seat unit. SOLUTION: A warm water washing toilet seat comprises: a washing nozzle for emitting a jet of washing water to the private parts; a device supporting plate for fixing the washing nozzle; a washing water supply means for supplying the washing water to the washing nozzle; and the heat exchanger for warming the washing water to be supplied to the washing nozzle from the washing water supply means. The heat exchanger is equipped with a suspended protrusion, a connecting portion for being screwed to the device supporting plate, and an engaging portion which is formed on a side surface so as to be engaged with the device supporting plate. The device supporting plate is provided with a recess corresponding to the protrusion of the heat exchanger, and an elastic portion to be engaged, corresponding to the engaging portion. When the protrusion of the heat exchanger is inserted into the recess of the device supporting plate, the portion to be engaged is engaged with the engaging portion after elastic deformation. A maintenance member for maintaining an engaged state by suppressing the elastic deformation of the portion to be engaged is detachably provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
