TOOL FOR REMOVING ROOF MATERIAL, METHOD FOR REMOVING ROOF MATERIAL BY USE OF THE TOOL, AND REPAIR METHOD FOR ROOF MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a broken existing roof material from a sheathing roof board easily and fix a ridge side end part of a new roof material on the sheathing roof board after removing the existing roof material simply and securely. SOLUTION: This tool 1 for removing the roof material is constituted by an L-shaped bar-like body 2 having a first bar-like part 3 and a second bar-like part 4 continuously through a bent part forming a right angle. A nail nipping and holding part 9 for twisting and pulling out a barrel part of a nail exposed in a clearance between a lower face of the existing roof material and the sheathing roof board with the barrel part of the nail nipped is provided on a tip side of the first bar-like part 3.
