PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food packaging sheet which offers a sense of luxury depending on the taste of paper and has proper gas permeability. SOLUTION: The food packaging sheet is provided as a heat sealable food packaging sheet S having a multilayer structure composed of an outer layer 1 containing at least a natural fiber and a synthetic fiber, and an inner layer 2 containing a synthetic fiber having heat sealability. The synthetic fiber is the main component (50%) of the food packaging sheet S as a whole, and the synthetic fiber content ratio of the inner layer 2 and that of the outer layer 1 are so determined as to satisfy the relation that (synthetic fiber content ratio of the inner layer 2)-(synthetic fiber content ratio of the outer layer 1) is 0≤60. Preferably, the synthetic fiber is a polyolefin fiber, and the synthetic fiber having a fibrillary shape is recommended. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
