A method of producing a pneumatic tire having a surface fastener on its inner surface, the method enhancing productivity and prevents a reduction in uniformity. The method is used to produce a pneumatic tire (T) having at least one surface fastener (12) provided on its inner surface in the circumferential direction. The method has a step of forming a tubular first molded body (22) on a molding drum (21), the tubular first molded body (22) having the at least one surface fastener (12) intermittently attached to the inner peripheral surface of the first molded body (22) so as to be placed in the circumferential direction of the molding drum (21), a step of forming a green tire by toroidally expanding the first molded body (22) and pressing and adhering it to the inner peripheral side of an annular second molded body (24), and a step of vulcanizing the green tire.
