摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic composition capable of being fired at a low temperature under a low oxygen reducing atmosphere and a lamination type piezoelectric element exhibiting sufficient displacement even under a high voltage of &ge;1 kV/mm. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric composition contains a multiple oxide expressed by a following formula as a main component, 0<&alpha;&le;0.5 mass% Cu expressed in terms of Cu<SB>2</SB>O (&alpha;) as a first accessory component, 0<&beta;&le;0.2 mass% at least one kind selected from Co, Ni, Ga and Mg, where (&beta;) is expressed in terms of oxide in Co, Ni and Ga and is expressed in terms of carbonate in Mg, as a second accessory component, 0<&gamma;&le;0.6 mass% at least one kind selected from Ta, Nb, W and Sb expressed in terms of oxide (&gamma;) as a third accessory component. The composition formula is Pb<SB>a</SB>[(Zn<SB>1/3</SB>Nb<SB>2/3</SB>)<SB>x</SB>Ti<SB>y</SB>Zr<SB>z</SB>]O<SB>3</SB>, where in the formula, (a), (x), (y) and (z) respectively satisfy 0.96&le;a&le;1.03, 0.005&le;x&le;0.047, 0.42&le;y&le;0.53, 0.45&le;z&le;0.56 and x+y+z=1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
