<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet device capable of using generated electric power efficiently while suppressing the consumption of a primary battery to the maximum extent even in various use environments. <P>SOLUTION: This faucet device has an electric power generating means, the primary battery connected electrically with the electric power generating means in parallel, a capacitor charged by outputs of the electric power generating means or the primary battery, a charging control means for controlling charging to the capacitor from the primary battery provided between the primary battery and the capacitor in series by turning it on or off, a voltage conversion means for converting a voltage of the capacitor to a predetermined voltage to feed it, and a faucet control means operated by electricity fed from the voltage conversion means. This faucet device is provided with a voltage detection means for detecting a voltage of the capacitor and a back-up voltage setting means for controlling the charging control means by turning it on when an output of the voltage detection means reaches a back-up voltage for starting charging to the capacitor from the primary battery or lower and setting a back-up voltage by changing it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
