<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the secular change of the brightness and chrominance of light emitted from LEDs arranged inside a backlight device while the backlight is on. <P>SOLUTION: The value of a peak current supplied to LEDs or the duty ratio of a current supplied to the LEDs is adjusted so as to keep detection values resulting from detection by a sensor of emitted light from the red, green, and blue LEDs equal with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
