<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable management system, a computer program, a cable, a method for manufacturing the cable, and a method for guiding a user when discriminating a connection position to the cable. <P>SOLUTION: A processor in a data processing system receives a cable identifier from the cable. Thereafter, the processor sets at least one connection position to be confronted with the cable based on the cable identifier.
