<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain, to some extent, the reception of services due to the stealing of information necessary for a piece of authentication included in multiple pieces of authentication, even if the information is stolen, when the multiple pieces of authentication are executed. <P>SOLUTION: On the assumption that multiple devices and apparatuses are connected and multiple authentication processes are performed, it is determined, in accordance with a state of connection, whether a prescribed authentication result is to be kept or deleted (or, validated or invalidated) among the multiple authentication processes.
