<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll-shaped optical film suitable for a brightness improving film which can obtain good brightness improvement, is easily stuck to a polarizer in particular, and can reduce members, a method for producing the optical film, a polarizing plate, and a liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the roll-shaped optical film, a fiber bundle containing particles in fibers is supplied continuously onto a support conveyed continuously so that the long axis direction of the fibers is the conveyance direction, a liquid resin composition is supplied continuously to the fiber bundle, and the resin composition having the fiber bundle is peeled off from the support to produce the film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
