PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a leak of a liquid crystal material in a liquid crystal injection port. SOLUTION: A thin liquid crystal display panel 30 is equipped with: a TFT substrate 10 and a CF substrate 20 which are disposed opposite to each other; a liquid crystal layer 15 provided between the TFT substrate 10 and CF substrate 20; a seal material 16 which is provided so as to surround the liquid crystal layer 15 between the TFT substrate 10 and CF substrate 20 and has the liquid crystal injection port 16a for injecting the liquid crystal material constituting the liquid crystal layer 15; and a sealing material 17 provided so as to close the liquid crystal injection port 16a, wherein the CF substrate 20 has a through hole H reaching the liquid crystal injection port 16a, and the through hole H is filled with the sealing material 17.
