PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash fixing device capable of effectively preventing a reflector from deforming as being used for a long period, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the flash fixing device. SOLUTION: The flash fixing device includes a flash lamp 14 provided in parallel to a conveyance path for continuous paper 2, a main reflecting plate 15 which reflects flash light from the flash lamp 14 toward the conveyance path, and a housing 17 which houses the flash lamp 14 and main reflecting plate 15. The main reflecting plate 15 is supported from the housing 17 at least at three points including a center part and both end parts in a conveyance direction (a) of the continuous paper 2, the main reflecting plate 15 being fixed to the housing 17 at the center part and supported at both the end parts to expand and contract in the conveyance direction.
