PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent effective for preventing or treating health disorders caused by the radiation exposure. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the prevention or treatment of radiation hazards by using a tocopherol or tocotrienol compound ester derivative as a radiation protection agent. Administration of either a tocopherol or a tocotrienol compound ester derivative before or after exposure to radiation is effective in preventing or treating health disorders caused by the radiation exposure.
