PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily separably separate a plurality of superposed paper as each one paper without depending on manpower. SOLUTION: This paper separating device has a paper storage box 10 storing a paper bundle of superposing the plurality of paper so that one end surface of the plurality of paper respectively abuts on a bottom surface 11 and having a revealing part for revealing a part of the respective one end surfaces of the plurality of paper, an air supply unit 21 and an air supply nozzle 22 blowing air via the revealing part upon the paper bundle stored in the paper storage box 10.
