PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the confirmation of several kinds of information during checking with a portable terminal by using a key as the portable terminal and improve convenience. SOLUTION: The electric lock system 1 is provided with an electric lock 2 capable of carrying out the electric locking/unlocking control of a lock based on the checking result of key data obtained from the portable terminal 3 by using the portable terminal 3 which stores the key data required for the locking/unlocking of the lock. The electric lock 2 has a function for storing a series of electric lock information related to the locking/unlocking of the lock which includes the checking result of the key data and abnormal information and a function for selectively transmitting the series of the electric lock information to the portable terminal through noncontact communication in response to the checking result of the key data from the portable terminal 3 and the presence or the absence of the abnormal information.
