PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a printer for discharging ink from discharge nozzles provided in a print head and for printing visible information on a print surface of a rotating printing object causes a landing position of an ink droplet to be shifted owing to rotation of the printing object, and thereby the printed visible information inevitably to develop a distortion. SOLUTION: When at first visible information to be printed on a printing object is converted into polar coordinate data from biaxial rectangular coordinate data, a landing position correction to correct a shift of an ink droplet is made, and the visible information is converted into landing position correction polar coordinate data. Then, ink discharge data is created from the landing position correction polar coordinate data, and an ink droplet is discharged onto the printing object from the ink discharge data so as to print the visible information.
