摘要 <p>The method for reducing phosphate content of a liquid (20) e.g. waste water, comprises applying an electrical direct current voltage to two inert electrodes (40, 50) present in the liquid, transferring the loaded fine dispersed or colloidal phosphate particles based on the electrical field within the liquid to one of the inert electrodes, disturbing a charge distribution on the loaded phosphate particles based on the direct current voltage by the inert electrode and effecting the cations existing in the liquid by a coagulation of the phosphate particles. The method for reducing phosphate content of a liquid (20) e.g. waste water, comprises applying an electrical direct current voltage to two inert electrodes (40, 50) present in the liquid, transferring the loaded fine dispersed or colloidal phosphate particles based on the electrical field within the liquid to one of the inert electrodes, disturbing a charge distribution on the loaded phosphate particles based on the direct current voltage by the inert electrode, effecting the cations existing in the liquid by a coagulation of the phosphate particles after the disturbance of the charge distribution and then transferring into a separable-phase, removing the phosphate particles from a phosphate-loaded surface water, measuring the concentration of a given type of cation suitable for precipitating the phosphate particles, comparing the measured concentration with a given minimum concentration, introducing additional cations into the liquid, if the measured concentration falls below the minimum concentration, obtaining the separated phosphate-phase from the liquid after separating the precipitated phosphate particles, and then subjecting to a phosphate recovery. A direct current is caused between 0.1-1A per liter liquid in the liquid. The inert electrodes have an interval of 1-10 cm and a voltage of 1-100 V at the electrodes. Inert electrode plates that run parallel in sections are used as inert electrodes. The process is batch-wisely or continuously carried out in the flow operation. An anodic oxidation is carried out at the inert electrode working as anode. The chemical oxygen requirement of the treated liquid is reduced in the frame of the anodic oxidation. An independent claim is included for a device for reducing phosphate content of a liquid.</p>
