<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having an automatic document carrying section of unbalance weight distribution arranged above the image reading section in which propagation of mechanical vibration is suppressed and application of undue load from the automatic document carrying section to the image reading section is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises an image reading section 20 for reading the document image, an image forming section 10 arranged below the image reading section, an automatic document carrying section 30 arranged above the image reading section and constituted to open/close freely for the image reading section by a hinge member in order to carry a document automatically, and a plurality of vibration control members arranged between the image reading section and the image forming section to support the image reading section resiliently for the image forming section. The vibration control member is arranged closely to each corner of the image forming section, and a vibration control member 5RL with bigger withstand load than others is arranged at a corner 25RL applied with a bigger load as compared with other corners. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
