<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where image forming process units can be loaded and unloaded smoothly. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is equipped with electrophotographic image forming process units 18, 50, and 80 loadable from predetermined positions in the apparatus body. Each of the process units can be loaded to a predetermined position in the apparatus body, by opening an opening/closing cover 24 provided to a side part of the apparatus body to be opened and closed in the vertical directions, and a label 28 which shows how to handle and load/unload the process unit and also indicates guide lines 28b matching the insertion position, and direction of the process unit is stuck on the internal surface of the opening/closing cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
