<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of surely detecting the opening/closing state of an opening/closing member with simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a photosensor 29 that detects the position of a snap fit 27 for locking a reverse cover 3 configured to be freely rotatably supported by a rear cover 26 (image forming apparatus body) related to the image forming apparatus in body, and detects that the snap fit 27 is locked by a locking part 28, thereby, detects that the reverse cover 3 is in a closed state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
