<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further properly operate an engine, by further properly setting an actual suction air quantity Qaact being an actual suction air quantity of the engine. <P>SOLUTION: When an opening deviation ΔTH as a deviation of throttle opening TH is a threshold value THref or less (S320), a correction factor Ka is set based on the throttle opening TH and an opening-closing timing advance indicating flag F (S330), and the actual suction air quantity Qaact is calculated by multiplying a detecting suction air quantity Qadet by this correction factor Ka (S340), and fuel is injected by using a target fuel injection quantity Qf* corresponding to this actual suction air quantity Qaact (S350 and S360).
