<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device capable of precisely correcting variation in paper feeding timing by a simple control and consequently enhancing printing productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device such as a copier or a printer is equipped with a paper feeding roller, a conveying roller, a timing roller, and a paper feed sensor for detecting a paper sheet fed between the paper feeding roller and the conveying roller. When the period of time the tip end of the fed paper sheet is detected by the paper feed sensor is shorter than a predetermined period of time, the conveying speed of the paper feed roller is decelerated by at least two speeds, that is, a temporary deceleration (1) or a temporary deceleration (2), to correct the interval of the paper sheets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
