<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overload safety device of a robot hand having a simple structure and a compact, light-weight, and inexpensive configuration and capable of effectively functioning for the overload applied to the robot hand in the right and left directions or the vertical direction or the forward and backward directions by a method for supporting the robot hand by a shaft by attracting it magnetically. <P>SOLUTION: This overload safety device of the robot hand is constituted by: providing a first magnetic attraction seat face 3 in a section to which the robot hand 4 is attached and a second magnetic attraction seat face 9 on the robot hand 4; attaching and supporting the robot hand 4 by attracting the second magnetic attraction seat face 9 to the first magnetic attraction seat face 3 magnetically; fitting the shaft 10 protruding from either of the first and second magnetic attraction seat faces 3, 9 into a hole or a groove 11 provided on the other seat face; and letting the robot hand 4 resist magnetic attraction force by fitting of the shaft into the hole or the groove 11 by the overload applied to the robot hand 4 to turn in the right and left directions or move vertically or tilt forward and backward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
