PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge including a welding joint which facilitates die manufacture and can avert a forming defect. SOLUTION: The cartridge is formed with a cartridge case 4 by welding and joining a first shell (upper shell) 2 and a second shell (lower shell) 3. The cartridge includes first bosses 21, a plurality of which are erected on an inner surface side of the upper shell 2 and have joint surfaces 21w joined to the lower shell 3 at the front ends and second bosses 22, a plurality of which are erected on an inner surface side of the lower shell 3 and the front ends 22w of which are joined to the joint surfaces 21w. A recessed part 21a is formed via an inclined part 21b in a central part of the joint surface 21w. A planar welding section 21c is formed on an outer peripheral side of the recessed part 21a. As a result, the manufacture of the forming die for forming the welding section 21c is facilitated and the welding joint having excellent forming quality can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
