PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the contrast of a plasma display device while suppressing a decrease in luminance. SOLUTION: A light condensing continuous body 30 is installed on the side of a light emission/projection surface of a plasma display panel 20. The light condensing continuous body 30 is constituted by stacking a first light condensing continuous body 11 and a second light condensing continuous body each having condenser lenses arrayed successively in a plane so that light condensing axes of the respective condenser lenses are aligned with one another, and disposing light absorbers 13 which absorb incident light on the first light condensing continuous body on sides facing the second light condensing continuous body. The light absorbers 13 are disposed asymmetrically with respect to the light condensing axes penetrating the first light condensing continuous body and second light condensing continuous body.
