PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the surface of an optical element from being damaged in a mounting process. SOLUTION: An optical element side abutting piece 53 is located at a position where it does not come into contact with the surface 1A of the optical element 1, because the protrusion 21 of a holding frame 17 abuts on a part other than the engaging hole 59 of a clip member 51 until the clip member 51 holds the optical element 1 and the holding frame 17 and is inserted into an insertion completing position where the optical element 1 is fixed in the holding frame 17. In the insertion stage of the clip member 51, the optical element side abutting piece 53 does not slide on the surface 1A of the optical element 1, and the optical element side abutting piece 53 only abuts on the surface 1A of the optical element 1 when the clip member 51 is inserted into the insertion completing position and the protrusion 21 is fit in the engaging hole 59.
