PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting blade device capable of efficiently carrying out the cutting of a crop such as grain culms without rotating the cutting blade at high speed, and a cutting blade device capable of preventing the coiling around of the crop. SOLUTION: The cutting blade device is constituted as follows. An endless chain 33 having a plurality of cutting blades 51 is wound around a sprocket 35 and a tension roller 36 by arranging the sprocket 35 at one terminal part and the tension roller 36 at the other terminal part, and a plurality of fixed blades 50 is arranged so as to be overlapped with the cutting blades 51 in the upper and lower direction. Driving transmission mechanisms 32, 41, 44a and 47 for driving the sprocket 35 is installed. As a result, the vibration of the cutting blade is reduced because the cutting blade 51 is rotated in one direction, and the grain culms can efficiently be reaped even if the cutting blade 51 is not rotated at high speed because the grain culms are cut even by the fixed blades 50. When the tension roller 36 is arranged at the unreaped ground side of the standing grain culms, and the driving sprocket 35 is arranged at the reaped ground side, the unreaped culms are prevented from being entangled in the driving sprocket 35.
