PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a retaining wall using a honeycomb-like solid reinforcing material having high stability and an excellent draining property and strong against rainfall and snowfall. SOLUTION: This construction method of the retaining wall includes processes for forming a laminate including a water permeable layer and a honeycomb structure layer formed by filling a filler of low water permeability in the honeycomb-like solid reinforcing material wherein a strip material formed of a plate-like or net-like polymeric material is formed in honeycomb structure, and connecting two or more layers constituting the laminate by piles. In the process for forming the laminate, the water permeable layer is laid directly on the honeycomb structure layer filled with the filler with low water permeability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
