<p>An automatic mail envelope sorting system for envelopes of different sizes, thickness and weight, has a feeder for mixed envelopes and a transport system with a number of discharge compartments. The mixed envelope feeder has a pre-feeder and a turntable with interval switch control. The interval control operates the pre-feed and turntable such that the mixed envelopes are removed individually from a chaotic stack to the turntable and transport system and discharge compartments.</p> |
