A plasma display panel is provided to easily bond a front substrate and a rear substrate by not forming a lower dielectric layer on a portion adjacent to an alignment mark formed on a rear substrate. A front substrate(101) and a rear substrate(111) are disposed opposite to each other. A lower dielectric layer(115) is formed on the rear substrate. The lower dielectric layer comprises CuO of 0.1wt% to 0.5wt%, and has a thickness of 5 micrometers to 12 micrometers. A first alignment mark is formed on the rear substrate to bond the first substrate and the second substrate, and a second alignment mark corresponding to the first alignment is formed on the front substrate.
