<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize musical sound in which a musical sound element naturally changes. <P>SOLUTION: A storage device 32 stores a component value sequence C corresponding to a fluctuation component which is extracted from variation of frequency in original sound. An acquiring section 12 acquires performance information D for specifying a mode of performance of a musical instrument. A specifying section 14 specifies a performance feature amount M (for example, volume) from performance information D. A processing section 16 processes the component value sequence C on the basis of the performance feature amount M. A synthesis section 24 synthesizes the musical sound on the basis of a component value sequence H after processing. For example, in architecture that the processing section 16 processes the component value sequence C so that the component value sequence H may be reduced as the performance feature amount become larger, natural synthesis sound is created by reflecting tendency that variation with time of the musical sound element is suppressed when strongly played. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
