<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter having high contrast, capable of suppressing occurrence of display defects due to burn-in in image display and generation of a pigment deposit, and capable of achieving high display quality, and to provide a liquid crystal display device using the color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter has a colored layer, wherein the colored layer shows a diffraction peak of which the half-value width is ≥0.6° at a Bragg angle of 28±1° in an X-ray diffraction spectrum for a Cu-Kα ray. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
