POWER CONTROLLER AND POWER CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power controller and a power control method for suppressing power consumption to minimum as a whole, and for improving the through-put of this system.

SOLUTION: This power controller is provided with a task list 103 including information for managing the state of a task and the priority of performance; a storage part for storing a device management table 106 including information for managing a device to be used by the task; a task management part 104 for managing the performance sequence of the task and the transition of the state of the task as a list by referring to a task list 103; a task list 103; a clock supply judging part 105 having a first processing part for referring to the task list 103 and a device management table and a second processing part for requesting the start or stop of the supply of a clock to the device based on the reference result of the first processing part; and a clock control part 107 for controlling the supply or stop of the clock to the device based on the request of the clock supply judgement part 105.
