PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately, easily and surely arrange and fix a backing metallic material in a predetermined height position, in a support tool and a backing metallic material support structure using this support tool, for supporting the backing metallic material for installing a wall panel such as an ALC (lightweight cellular concrete) panel, above a rising part such as a concrete foundation and a beam of, for example, a structure such as a house and a building. SOLUTION: This support tool is provided for installing and supporting a wall panel installing backing metallic material 2 in the predetermined height position, by being embedded in the top end vicinity of the rising part 1 such as the concrete foundation and the beam in the structure, and is characterized by having a screw rod 14 screwing with a female screw member 12, by integrally arranging a non slipout locking piece 13 on an outer peripheral surface of its female screw member 12, by integrally arranging the bottomed cylindrical female screw member 12 on the under surface side of a top plate 11 arranged in the top end vicinity of the rising part 1, and a backing metallic material placing receiving base 15 integrally arranged in an upper end part of its screw rod 14.
