PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superabsorbent composite sheet being manufactured by a simple process, capable of retaining a sufficient liquid absorptive function without any practical problem, and highly efficiently treating a liquid component and a solid component; and an absorber article having the superabsorbent composite sheet. SOLUTION: This superabsorbent composite sheet comprises a SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) support layer having a liquid component absorbing power, an absorption/diffusion layer stacked on the SAP support layer and having hydrophilicity, and a hydrophobic surface layer stacked on the absorption/diffusion layer and having water resistance, wherein the SAP support layer, the absorption/diffusion layer and the hydrophobic surface layer are characterized to be integrated together.
