The rotor has a cylindrical rotor body, which is twisted around a rotational axis of the rotor body. Two passage channels are formed with circular cross sections in the rotor body. Central areas of the passage channels are arranged perpendicular to a central level. The central area of one passage channel is shifted in one direction and the central area of another passage channel is shifted in another direction, which is opposite to the former direction. An independent claim is also included for a valve stick of a wind instrument, particularly a brass instrument.
