<p>A television video recording device, a television receiver and a control program are provided to securely record a video program broadcasted before switching a channel with further operation work omitted. In the case where information detected by an infrared camera (15) indicates that the number of viewers increase or decrease before or after an instruction to change the present display channel to a new one, a control unit (14) judges that the instruction to change the present display channel to the new one is an instruction made by a new television viewer who is different from the viewer before the new instruction is received, makes a display output unit (12) output a television signal of the new display channel to a television monitor (100), and also makes a hard disc device (13) record a television signal of the display channel before the instruction to change the present display channel to the new one is received.</p> |
