<p>A display device for a multi function key pad and an electronic device having the same are provided to input various commands, output various information, and variably change and display characters, figures, specific symbols, still images or videos according to user selection, thereby reducing a depth of a user interface and achieving convenient key operation. In a display panel(130), plural display regions(132) are arranged in a matrix form as forming a boundary with non-display regions(131). A printed circuit board(140) is disposed on the display panel. In the printed circuit board, openings(142) are formed in a region corresponding to the display region. In the printed circuit board, keys(143,144) are formed in a region which is an outer circumference of the opening and corresponds to the non-display region. A pad(150) is disposed on the printed circuit board. In the pad, transparent windows(152) are formed in a region corresponding to the opening. In the pad, press portions(153,154) are formed in a region which is an outer circumference of the transparent window and corresponds to the key.</p> |
